Serkan Tığlıoğlu, General Manager of NTSR International Exhibition & Congress Organizers said that the event was a total success with 273 boats, 178 companies and 585 domestic and international brands, and continued:
“Holding the event on the water was a dream coming true with us. But, more than that, it was a success in fair organization which has put us on an even higher rank in Europe. Our next objective is to take place among Europe’s five biggest shows. The show is an Istanbul classic that begun 28 years ago with 19 participants and 900 visitors, coming together in a gigantic tent in the middle of the city. This tradition has become today a global convention, worthy of Istanbul’s growing position as a center of affection. As the city will become an European Culture Capital in 2010, we will contribute with an even bigger demonstration of Turkey’s seamanship culture.” |
